Archaeological Fiction Books
I'm big into the theme of stories having archaeological plots. Even if the story isn't fully centered on archaeology--if it has a hint of it or similar fields of study--I'm in love. These stories might not have the same feel as "the Mummy" or "Indiana Jones", but they will have a hint of archaeological-adjacent themes smattered within at least.

I have some possible suggestions for you! I haven't read these yet but Digging Dr Jones by Olivia Jackson, Eye of Tyr by Gabrielle R. Herd, and The Jewel of the Isle by Kerry Rea all mention archeology or archeologists in the book descriptions. Thrill of the Chase by Kathryn Nolan doesn't mention them but it is about a treasure hunt and I've seen it likened to some of these books so it could be a maybe.

Thank you for putting this list together!! I'm a massive fan of Indiana Jones, Tomb Raider and The Mummy and I'm always looking for books that have a similar mixture of archeology and adventure 🥰
