Haha so before I read the description and just saw the title and a couple of the books listed, I thought this was implying Legends and Lattes was barbaric. I was like WHAT??

lmao, i was debating putting it on here since Viv doesn't do too much barbarian-ing, but there are so little female barbarians i was like you know what, we ball.

Have you read bookshops and bonedust? I don't know anything about dnd but if what you're after is her more violent past, that gets into it!

Came here to mention this as well!!

Saving this list as I'm deeply invested in it!

The Oathbound by Mercedes Lackey. Tarma doesn't rage, necessarily, but she channels what rage she has into a massive revenge quest and doesn't hesitate to smash skulls. I think it counts 😁

2

oh that so gives barbarian, thank you!!

Conan the Barbarian. The one from 1934. It has a yellow cover.

I definitely opened this hoping for Ice Planet Barbarians vibes 😂 But I play DND so this is cool too!

2

I haven't read Ice Planet Barbarians. Do you think it should be included?

2

😂 not the right fit for this list

From what I've heard about those, they're basically erotica. But I wasn't sure if the barbarians still fit. I don't judge 😁

2

They're romances, with human women from ~2020ish who have landed on this planet of big tall strapping local population who are horned and have rippling muscles, who must hunt and wear the hides of those animals. Nothing to do with being fighters per se, nor rages like in DND

I want to preface this by saying I'm sorry, I am but a child...

. .. ... .. .

Georgie wasn't sure if they'd fit either 😂😂
