snails
i'm constantly on the hunt for more books about snails (that aren't kids books) and these are the ones I've found so far! mix of fiction and non-fiction (anything with a snail and i'm in!!) very open to suggestions even if the snail is just included and not the main theme.

yay snails! may i suggest The Listeners by Maggie Stiefvater? snails are a pretty distinct motif/symbol throughout the story

It takes place in a hotel and as I recall the hotel is decorated with all these little hidden snails that the MC searched for as a child and then real snails are sprinkled throughout the story as well.
I adore that!

Saving this hoping reading some will cure my molluscophobia! I want to love these little creatures, but juts the sight of them fills me with dread! I really need something that fills me with snail-love!

I checked it out! On the one hand, it seems like an incredibly sweet story, on the other, finding a snail on my nightstand is now added to my list of nightmare scenarios :D. I am definetely going to read it (once I tackle my massive tbr)!
