i know i know, itās wrong to judge the book by its cover for multiple reasons but i canāt help it ! š
recently, i was talking to my friend about this, how i seem to be drawn to pretty covers, pretty art styles (for games and manhwas/mangas/manhuas) and how im starting to hate that ai is infiltrating those spaces (Very anti ai in this house) and they turned to me like i just grew two heads. they were like how could i judge a book on its cover, isnāt the point of whatās in it?
iām like yeah, youāre right but if it doesnāt come recommended to me, im never gonna look at the synopsis either. and i especially hate it when they have people on the cover. No hate to cover models but i canāt own a physical copy of a book if a person is on the cover. š
iām not trying to defend myself by saying you Should judge by cover and how itās good, iām very well aware itās not but iād like to know if iām not the only one who does this. šš

Did I miss a message that they were being removed? I was tracking multiple fics for different lengths and now all my tracking is them is just gone. I had custom made covers in my tracking notes for them. I had the exact dates I had read them for over a year.
One of the reasons I made the choice to switch to Pagebound was that it has a really nice fanfic tracking option.
And I had taken the time to make the only fic place holder list! They donāt let you rearrange orders of the list! Do you know how time-consuming it was to create that list in numerical order?
Iām just sad and a little frustrated.

Is anyone like this? Because Iāve found myself creating really weird/good story lines for books but I canāt bring myself to writing them because I donāt know how to translate it in to words⦠š
Like last night I created a story about a knight who doesnāt believe about the creepy witch that lives in the forest and goes hunting for her and falls in love with her šāāļø

They're ridiculously varied and detailed. They feel like a gift. Which they actually are.
I only read 4 books in June, but considering what kind of month it was, it's totally okay. Getting to choose even your favourite colour for the stats is fantastic. I also love the ratings and covers collage. Uh, and everything else.
What's your favourite stat type? What's a personal stat or achievement you want to brag about?
