For some reason, when I heard "cozy" I heard "no conflict," even though I think getting over a hurdle is usually an important ingredient in the creation of a book, What would be a better understanding of "Cozy", without big emotions?–by that im picturing no angst, or negativity steeped in pain–or is it a slower pace? or a secret third thing?
And am I right in my thought of no book going without conflict or is there a read escaping my mind?

guys I wanted your opinion on this: see, when June discovers that it seems she can't write something entirely original, and she always unconsciously bases her work off something that already exists, I found that quite gripping cause I actually think about that often. is it braver to accept the fact that maybe your dream job (or whatever) just isn't for you or to keep going to maybe eventually get good enough for it?

Am I the only one who semi-regularly hits the daily post limit for a forum and then writes down more comments to post after a day has passed? I mostly find myself doing this in book forums when I'm the first (or one of the first) to write in the forum, so i kind of feel like it's just an open space for me to yap.

sooo i have 3 books (as of now, might add more later, maybe book 2 of a river enchanted by rebecca ross, idk yet, or even book 2 to 4 of the empress of salt and fortune, idk yet) i need to finish this month and i have close to Zero motivation for it. 😭
i saw someone discussing buddy reads and i got curious as to how do ppl do that, what are the logistics and what happens when someone ends up reading it faster than the other, etc etc.
got me thinking that Maybe buddy reading those three might help me finish them faster, anyone interested?
the three books as of now are : mistborn era 2 : the alloy of law by brandon sanderson on earth we’re briefly gorgeous by ocean vuong project hail mary by andy weir
