The weekend is upon us! I don’t know about you all but this week felt very long. I have been looking forward to doing some cleaning and baking while listening to audiobooks this weekend. I am also hoping to spend sometime this weekend re-organizing one of my bookshelf’s as it has a mix of books and craft supplies on it.
Do you have any bookish plans or goals for this weekend?

I love the base of Pagebound, being able to discuss the books you're reading by chapter, and I wonder, is there any similar website but for shows? Ever since I started watching "Gilmore Girls", I feel the need to share my thoughts for each episode xD

I started reading a book just now and one of the characters has a similar dialect and accent to myself (doesn't pronounce their Hs and uses 'proper' instead of 'very') and since it's not something I see often, it surprised me!
So, to pose my questions. Do you like when dialects and accents are included within books? Do you struggle adjusting to it?
Do you guys have any recommendations for books where this is depicted well? I'd love to add them to my TBR 😖.
I personally really love it but I think sometimes I'm wary because I'm unsure if this depiction is actually accurate of real life. But, overall, I'm always interested to learn these regional terms because it's so cool to see how different communities utilise language 😻.

What are some titles you wish you could wipe from memory just to enjoy again?
Doesn't have to be because they're twisty with reveals you didn't see coming, but just that elusive feeling of discovering something beloved for the first time.
For me high on the list is the Monk & Robot books from Becky Chambers. I've reread them numerous times because of how much comfort they bring me, and that feeling of "wow, I really needed this wholesomeness" would be great to discover anew.
Also the Broken Earth Trilogy by N.K. Jemisin, and that one is for the twitsy turns!
What about y'all?

recently was thinking about how in my family there’s lots of couples that are opposites attract, which is honestly a trope I’ve never understood in books and still don’t understand in real life either (😂). I’m also South Asian, so like 80% of the couples I know are arranged marriages. But I’m curious, what are some of the romance tropes you’ve seen in real life and how do they compare to what you’ve read in books?
