When you read a long series that has all of its books out, do you usually binge them back to back, or do you spread them out, reading other things in between?

I have a few reading goals I have been slacking on! I'm working on r/Fantasy Book Bingo, only 5/25 so far so I need to pick up on that! I also have a list of recommendations from friends that I am way behind on, 4/36 lol (I've shoved a lot into bingo mentioned above so hopefully I can catch up!). I am also reading books from the Wainwright Prize longlists, and I hope to read at least 10 of them this year. Tell us your reading plans for the latter half of 2025 and we can cheer each other on!

This is me trying to remember the person I followed when they change their username 😭 I'll be like "I don't remember following you 😭😂" seriously tho, if we've talked here before and you changed your username and suddenly I act like I don't know you, remind me please 😭😂 PS I'm not annoyed that y'all are changing your usernames btw! 😭😂 It's actually kinda fun figuring out who you were. 😂

I’m curious—how did you decide on your avatar when you joined Pagebound? I originally picked the goth/emo-looking girl because her haircut was similar to mine. I almost went with the little green witch because she has such a cool vibe, but in the end, I chose my current avatar since I’m a total sucker for romance books. Don’t be surprised if I switch to the little green witch at some point, I just feel drawn to her! I’d love to hear your stories! Did you pick your avatar because it looks like you, fits your favorite genre, or just because it’s cute?

If you're someone who DNFs books, what's one of the silliest or pettiest reasons you've stopped reading? I'll go first with some of mine: - The author kept repeating the same words/phrase, I couldn't stop noticing it and after 4 chapters I'd had enough - The MMC had the same name as an ex and I wasn't about to read a whole book where he gets a happy ending - They didn't use any punctuation marks at all Please tell me I'm not the only one who abandons books that should be interesting to me for ridiculous reasons?

hi guys, i found out about this website through booktwt!!! very excited about the upcoming app and i think i'll really enjoy navigating this space!

i mean i dont know of the nice founder ladies will see this or if it might not work for this. But a page bound wrapped would be so cool and such a nice way to spread awareness for this great website and soon to be app. Also since good reads and Story Graph have something but it would be a lot of work and what would it measure? how many people you replied too in comments? how many books you read? how many badges you earnt? quests completed?

Do you guys own many books? I never did growing up because I went to the library. Even now,I only buy books that I have read and loved. But seeing people on social media's own walls full of books has made me curious about other people's habits. So, I would love to hear about your habits. Do you buy books right away? Do you read all of the ones you buy? How many do you own/do you get rid of many?
