Every time I think okay I think this is how it is another tidbit of information is given that throws me off. The worst part is that I am pretty sure this book ends on another huuuuge cliffhanger and leaves me with more questions than answers.

hi ! can anyone recommend fantasy books that have a "golden retriever" type of mmc :3
most of the fantasy books i've read always have a mmc that is grumpy, have dark aura, with dark brooding eyesâ basically a shadow daddy lmfao i just want something different and fresh. i'd love anything as long as it doesn't involve love triangles <3

âBut no one ever told me I was allowed to scream.â - Merlinchen Fairytales are meant to teach us lessons from the stories they weave. Many tales have now been softened to the point that they could be causing us more harm than good. Ava Reid leans starkly into the pain in this novel. I felt manipulated, angry, confused, and afraid right alongside Merlinchen, which in my opinion is peak storytelling. I was enamored with every bit of this book, if highly disturbed during certain sections đ but i truly couldnât put it down. Be ready for a wild yet highly insightful ride.

At this point these characters feel like friends. Each of these books has been rife with sarcasm, wit, big hearts and the most whimsical fun.
