Audre and Bash my babies!!! I love them so much and I love this book! It was sooo cute and heartwarming! This is pretty much everything I love about coming of age stories and romance. When it comes to YA I love the coming of age aspects because I love seeing the realness of an unfortunate situation and people receiving comfort and healing. In this book I got that sooo much! I wanted to hug Audre and Bash multiple times and shake their parents for their bad behaviour! I read Seven days in June so I know she’s been through a lot but still. I also understand now why Eva is so protective but it’s not just that I feel like she overreacted a lot and didn’t listen to her and it felt like she wanted Audre to just stay perfect which was part of the issue they tacked. This book tackled so much complex topics like panic attacks, anxiety, broken families, over protective parents, generational trauma and perfectionism. This book was emotional but also funny! Audre is so blunt and just not a street smart girl so when she was trying to live a little it was funny to see those moments plus her comments in her self help book.
I loved Audre she was smart, quick witted, logical, vulnerable and lovely. She was wise but also didn’t know the answers and I just wanted to tell her it’s ok to not know. I loved Bash he was sweet yet insecure about himself given his dark past but he always remained kind. I loved how much they grew to care about each other and showcase that they can lean on each other. Reshma was another enjoyable character the best friend of Audre she was also complex and I liked her pov and sapphic love story.
I loved the healing journey with family and talks of mental health and wanting to grow as you grow up. I read the physical copy of this book and the audiobook and the audiobook did a great job with the voices especially Reshma and her accent. This book had depth, love, humour and so much heart! Which is what I need in a romance and what I got 5/5 = 9/10

Don’t understand a lot but I’m kinda excited to keep going? Idk I’ve never really read a lot of fantasy so I don’t really know what’s going on but I guess I should vibe it out?

Not bad so far I’m definitely intrigued for Sadie and Mal’s journey especially Sadie. I loved the charm offensive so I feel like I might enjoy this.

I really liked this book it was adorable and full of love!!! This was my first Bk Borrsion book but not my last. I loved Lucie and Aiden’s story. I loved how beautifully Lucie spoke about love and being tired and about magic. I related to that so much and I wanted that for her and I feel like she got that with Aiden. Aiden is a gem who was suffering under pain in his life that stopped him from believing in love. I loved how soft he was for Lucie from the beginning. Aiden is patient, kind and attentive and I love that about him. I also loved Lucie and how much she loved her found family and her daughter.
It was a charming and lovely read that was just a love lot love and I was swooning 🩷 I guess my only qualms would be I wish we got more of Lucie’s backstory and a little more of the epilogue. A very solid read overall I love the way this was done and I’m very excited for Jackson’s story! 4/5=8.5/10 🩷🩵🩷🩵

Gotta be honest this doesn’t feel like a second chance romance I don’t get the yearning just that they’re still attracted to each other. It’s so fast and I’m so bored and it doesn’t help that I don’t feel like I know these characters

I loved the nightmare before kissmass so I’m very excited for this one and I already really like it. I’ve always loved Kris and I’m ready for his emotional journey and his love story. It feels so good to be back with this delightful and funny characters again
