it's 3am and i am mourning the passing of Benjamin Alire Sàenz. so forgive me for my teenage angst (is it angst? dramatics? i'm unsure!)
these books got me through so much. they taught me to forgive myself and others and to love and that not everything must last forever for it to mean something. that my friend being mvrdered wasn't my fault, that even if i could've stopped it no one expected me to. that everyone i've ever loved is everywhere, even if they're gone. they're there when you miss them and they're there on a beautiful day they would've loved, your nonna is there when you eat cauliflower for the first time since her passing and your friend is there when you watch the show you used to watch together. i feel you here, nonna and az and every friend i've ever had. the wonder i used to hold so gently and the version of my father those wonder-filled eyes knew so well. all the bubbles i popped and the songs id dance to. and today i can dance again and forget the moves in the next hour and i can pop bubbles and write words that one day will be lost to time. these are all the feelings these books lent to me. the acceptance Benjamin Alire Sàenz gifted us. and I thank him

This whole world building is really creative! It has the vibe of an acid trip. A Pianocktail or cutting the top frosting of the cake in a spiral makes it work as a record and playing music. It’s kinda fun to read about

Hey y'all. So yesterday my daily pages were 1, despire having read 17 and today they saying 32, which is my totally pages read for August. I'm wondering if this is a me thing or if anyone else has noticed this? I did an update about 3 days ago, so it could be related to that. Thanks!

Hi!
I don't track my pages read on a day to day basis. I barely remember to track when I start and finish books, nevermind logging totals every day.
When I start a book I change it to reading, and when I finish a book I just click I'm finished and that's all I do.
Is there still a way to see how many pages I read per month in my stats? Because at the moment, since I don't track an actual number read per day, I don't see anything. Do I have to like... Put in 500/500 in the pages thing instead of just hitting I'm finished? But then it would say I read 500 pages in a single day. I guess that kind of works. I feel like I'm just kinda missing something (relatively new user here).
Like I just wanna see something like June: 1200 pages july: 1500 pages
Is that possible?
Edit: if it's a royalty thing or something that's cool too, I've been thinking about subbing in the future when money is less tight. Just don't know if I'm being obtuse
