I love imagining fantasy worlds like these, it just pleases my mind (or I don't know how else I'd describe it). There's something so satisfying about it.

Reality is overrated! These surreal and absurd fiction books remove logic to reveal their truths. Here the impossible is inevitable, the strange is necessary, and Kafkaesque is only the beginning.

Oh to see the world how animals see it! These books feature one or more animal main characters and show us the world through their eyes.

I already knew this book wasn't going to be particularly deep, and honestly, that's exactly what I needed right now. I was looking for something light and cozy, with a comforting vibe... Unfortunately, this wasn't it.This book was incredibly shallow. The romance felt like nothing more than physical attraction between the couple ALL THE TIME. I don't mind a few hot scenes, but I like it when they actually make sense within the story. There was barely anything else going on besides the characters constantly lusting after each other for no reason. I did enjoy the summer setting, since I'm a summer girly myself, but even those details felt "underdeveloped". Tbh, the writing also came across as very immature. I'll continue the series because I'm in a mood for a cozy reading and let's see if I like the next ones.
