    Happy Friday my fellow Boundlings!

Today I logged into steam and saw a cool game that came out 8/12 called "Author Sim" and its basically a game where you can do just as the title says! I do not think i will play that particular game, however; I have found some fun games from PB comments and was hoping some of you may leave your favorite bookish game recommendations below! I have 100% my recent game plays (Cat Mail Co. , Cat Isle, and Leafy Corner (well almost)) but I am hoping to add some new games to my wishlist/library and what is more fun than playing bookish games while listening to an audio book? I love sim games so if you have any recommendations that aren't the popular ones all over the Steam homepage I won't be upset to see those recommendations too!

Forgive me Sisters For I Have Sinned

Confession time. I sometimes read short books on purpose to bump my numbers of how many books I've read.

  • concern about future ‘member-of-the-month’ feature

[reposted due to messing up the hyperlink first time i posted]

hey everybody, i was glancing through past founder announcements recently and saw one that caused some worry in me, link here

i’ll copy here the specific section of the post that concerned me, so you don’t have to click through and read the full announcement if you don’t want to: “We will start a new program, community-voted Member of the Month (exact language TBD). Each month starting in the Fall, the entire PB community can nominate a user they believe embodies PB values. The user with the most nominations will be awarded a badge and the ability to create a Quest.

i’d love to hear what other people here think about this feature. personally, i’m concerned that it could turn into a popularity contest/a value system based on who is the most active on PB and which usernames are recognized by the most people. i really hope that there will be something in place to prevent that sort of result, because a popularity contest doesn’t feel like the PB spirit i know. i just don’t believe that voting for a member-of-the-month will be the community-building exercise that it is intended to be.

  • Logging Late Night Reads!

How do you do it? I just finished a book at 1am but I logged it all on yesterday’s date because I haven’t gone to bed yet!

Since I marked it as finished today it shows up on my reading log but I didn’t put any pages on the new day.

Just curious how you all do it!

  • tips on becoming an avid reader again?

hiii i’m wondering if anyone has some suggestions on becoming an avid reader again, i grew up loving reading SO MUCH and this app has also helped me really get back into it. the problem is honestly just my phone. i can’t stop doomscrolling and i want to replace it with reading. i’m sure others have gone through this as well so i’m hoping to find others to relate to also😩🙏

Unlike anything I've ever read. I might have a bit of a book hangover from that ending. And like the subtitle says, I would definitely consider this a litfic love story vs a contemporary romance!
