So far my thoughts on this book are: why are there so many side characters? There isn’t a whole lot of Medusa so far (I’m 66% of the way through). I’m enjoying the characters, and their stories are being told well, but I’m a bit surprised that there isn’t more of an emphasis on Medusa. I’m also really enjoying the banter between Athena, Hermes, and Perseus. It really captures how fickle Gods and Goddesses are, but it also highlights how human they are.

I don’t understand how a female cannibal serial killer could be so boring.. I get why the writing was pretentious and over the top, but it was exhausting. There were themes that could have been interesting & original, but it all just fell short & cringeworthy.
