I honestly had zero expectations going into this book. It's been on my tbr for like 5 years and I finally decided to give it a chance, and I'm glad I did. I'm really enjoying so far!

Ive read it back in 2022 and honestly could read it again. Her witty way of telling her childhood trauma was very enjoyable to read. It was like an accident happening infront of you, you dont want to look at it but you cant not look at it. There were many parts where even I felt triggered and I cant imagine how it felt writing all that down on paper. After that book I was very glad to have my parents, lets just say it like that. The only memoir ive ever read and the opposite of boring if you want to start with nonfiction chose that!

:) (Achtung: mieser Cliffhanger)
