Im writing this a few minutes after finishing that book and I still feel all the power and inspiration it carries. I think it's a book everyone should read (heart to my fellow German readers) especially us, women. I saw myself in both main characters, saw our struggles and rage. I now have more perspectives considering feminism and it just stabilized my opinion. I reallyyyy recommend this book :)

Just finished the audiobook and it was definitely fun to follow along the story of the Rivas. It was chaotic in a way that made me trying to keep tabs on every character and the characters so much more complex. It is incredible how easily each character was distinguishable with how many characters the story followed. But still I must say the her reading style "saved the story" while interesting I thought the plot was a little bit flat, with almost no plottwist. Im not so sure if I would have actually finished the last 100 pages if I hadn't listened to it as an audio book (a big problem of mine). The ending was just clear as day. I guess one could argue that this book was character-driven and not plot-driven (like good books are :) ) but I just missed the twist of Taylor jenkins Reid. 3.4/5
