Cerezajoe's Book Journey

idk if its just because im going through a rough patch in life but this book is touching me so deeply. erica i hate you. u left because u didnt want to live a gay life then got married to a rich boring man and dulled down urself just to go back toying with laure AGAIN. selfish. the section were laure comes out to her dad made me cry, the contrast between her dads reaction and all of her friends parents was just oh wow. and then now Michelle :( ik any story involving HIV/AIDS was going to be so devastating but what tore me up is just thinking about all the couldve been. what did gay ppl do to be called deviants and get medically neglected, have an illness attributed to them and thus for go under researched and let so many ppl die in such manner what did gay people do other than wanting love? im so devastated
