I really loved this book! I had a hard time liking the protagonist but it was satisfying to see her change and character development! The other characters were well written and most likeable. I really liked how important linguistics actually are in the book and that it's not just a plot device but actually the theme.
You have to keep in mind that the main character is around 17 years old and you can see that in her decision making, but if you accept that you won't be too frustrated by her thinking.
Loved the dragons, loved the linguistics, loved the political implications of language and culture.
The french translation felt natural and was very easy to read !
