This series took me for a ride fr! I laughed, cried and rolled my eyes more times than I can count and I loved every second of it (besides the weird sibling relationships but I’m ignoring that for my own sanity)
Although it took me awhile to get into this one I still enjoyed it a lot. I’m so happy this was my first book of the year but I’m sad to leave this world. It hit me around 70% that this is the last time I’m gonna read about these characters for awhile 😭😭 I’m sure they’ll pop up in other books as side characters every once and awhile but still I’m sad to leave them and I’m really surprised I made it through a six book series 😂 it took me like 2 and 1/2 years to do but I finished. I’m really looking forward to the dark artifices and seeing more of Jem (my favorite character) hopefully 🤞 This whole universe is just so comforting to me I’m so glad I have more books to read otherwise I would have the biggest book hangover right now 😂

I feel like I’ve read enough about this series to say that I’m bored with TOG. Don’t shoot me, please lol. I’ve heard so many good things about this series and I will be pushing through, but I feel like I don’t particularly care about any characters right now. Celaena’s not doing much for me. Definitely not a Rowan fan atm. Chaol is in the back burner for me. I guess I’m sort of rooting for Dorian/Sorcha? And so far the only interesting character to me is Manon, like will she become Celaena’s enemy or will she help her?
I’m a pretty fast reader - I’ve slowed down a lot but I used to read 200-300 pages a day, but it’s taking me 2 weeks to get to 20%. Is this happening to anyone else? Like I said, I’ll continue this series, but give me some encouragement or please tell me it’s not just me going through this 😭.

So far I’m confused about the hype.. I went in thinking this would be suspenseful if not a thriller. The only “plot twist” that we’ve had yet was painfully obvious to me?? Pls can anyone tell me if the “big plot twist” is yet to come 😅😂 wondering if I should improve my attitude and reserve judgement.
