I had a dream which somehow mixed together the plots of de Maurier’s Rebecca and The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde 😅

Strangely they seemed to fit together well! A young woman discovers that her husband, who often goes mysteriously missing, is not quite what he seems. I imagine in this story Dr. Jekyll would have fled from London for mysterious reasons and returned to his boyhood home of Manderley. And for some reason he brought our main character into this 😆

Another two books that seem to pair well together are Bram Stoker’s Dracula and Oscar Wilde’s The Picture of Dorian Gray. After all, what does Dorian Gray want if not for his youth to last forever?

I was really enjoying thinking of these scenarios and I wondered if you all had any ideas for two or more books that could be combined in a fun way!
