An introduction to the Horror genre, these books are part of the cultural zeitgeist or the 'canon' that many would recognize. Look for more niche titles in later Starter Pack volumes.

Hi everyone! It’s almost spoopy season and I am prepping by putting holds in Libby 💀 My question to all my horror fans out there… what is the SCARIEST book you’ve read? I love this genre and have a few on my TBR I’m eyeing, but I would love some recommendations 🙌

You know that joke about like, "yeah, sure, you can copy my essay.... but make sure you change some stuff so we don't get caught, okay?"
That is what this entire book felt like. I literally just reread Twilight but with a surprise "what if" ending. I am disappointed because I feel like we could have gotten some interesting fresh new perspectives, but there was barely a change between Twilight and Life&Death. Part of me wanted to read the two books simultaneously to really understand if there was more of a difference I just wasn't catching... but I already read Twilight and Midnight Sun at the same time and there was no way I was doing that again.
