I find Bashir kind of OOC in this book. To be honest, it’s an issue that I have with characters in a lot of Trek books, it might be because I'm reading these after having watched the whole show and the characters develop so much over 7 seasons. I didn’t massively enjoy the book, towards the end it got a bit hand-wavey with explanations about how the day was saved.
