Misfortunately I ...did not love this.

It definitely had a plot, which was good!

But....I didn't get the romance like at all. Didn't really feel any chemistry btwn them or get why they liked each other (aside from sex?)

Like....also im not opposed to the whole daddy-dom kink (obviously...since I bought the book) but....idk the execution just felt weird?

Like we really just jumped in with 'you need a daddy'.

All the smut scenes and romance honestly just made me cringe real bad.

I guess I was hoping for more of the whole sub/dom/daddy-dom dynamic in their regular interactions/relationship/personalities? But it really only seemed to feature in the actual sex scenes that I found cringey.

I had high hopes for this but really it just fell flat....I didnt really care much or feel invested in either MCs either really :/

Ok I loved everything about this honestly I understand the hype.

And the audio? 100% understand the raving. Jacob Morgan's narration really deepened Josh's character. Like not just was it a good portrayal, but it really was much more of an acting performance than just narrating and I found that his portrayal really made the audio such an immersion experience.

Loved Josh's character. The author did such a great job of 'show don't tell' and let us kind of learn his personality on our own.

He is such a precious lil golden retriever sociopath 🥹 Such a great combination of traits.

The book fr had me laughing out loud.

Ik some people didnt like the little turn it took at the end but.....I always like that genre making an appearance so I'm not complaining 🤷‍♀️

100% will re-listen, ESPECIALLY to the first half before she finds out who he is? That whole half had me cracking up.
