2.5 ⭐️ My least favourite yet ! As usual I enjoyed it and it was really fast-paced. My only issue was Poppy's personality. I thought that her being curious was cute and made sense but the more we learned to know the more she annoyed me. All the random questions and her misplaced curiosity pissed me off. Andrew said that he did read the document he has to transmit and she didn't understand how someone cannot. (obviously when she had to give a note to someone she read it, and when he gave her a sentence she will have to quote to save his life she got pissed because she didn't want to say something she didn't actually understood the meaning, so stupid)

Yeah a did not even try to write an unbiased review.
Sam is a empty shell of what a human being should be like. She has no personality whatsoever. She is a pathetic lovesick dumbass that spend her time either angry, confused, begging for love or being useless. She made no logic decisions just because she won’t realise that to be in a relationship you need the other person to agree with it. All her choses were made for Hannah not for herself. She has never even put a thought into anything she has wished for or done. She even censure herself when she met Hannah in the alternated reality because she wants her to fall in love but don’t see what’s wrong in that. « They have been good once so they could be good again » -> I’ve read and heard stupid things in my life but please let’s not live by that idea. « Nothing can push her to morally bankrupt herself » -> she literally sold her soul to get with a girl that don’t want her. Daphné is a bland character. She is witty and likeable but for most of the book she was a side character with extra screen time that’s it. Took her 235 pages to realise something we all knew from page 1
The was no build up their romance. It made no sense. And after the romance started the book felt dragged. Without the reminder that I was still reading the same book I would have thought that it was a completely other story. After a tiny growth from Sam she went back to her good old shenanigans (yes I know it was on purpose) and went all in into that potential relationship making new dumb decisions.
