It took me nearly half the book to warm up to Nesta. I am still annoyed about her inability to communicate her true feelings and fears. But I can see now that it's coming from a deep self loathing. As with Feyre I love the realistic portrait of development. All the trauma doesn't magically dissappear but are a hard, long and painful journey that only the person itself can start and finish.

I think that you're either the Nesta and can relate / connect or you have a Nesta in your life and that makes it hard to sympathize. I loved her journey but she was unnecessarily nasty and hateful to those around her and it hurt to read.
