Casteel is annoying me in this book. Him constantly losing control and getting irrationally angry about anything involving Poppy that he doesn't like is getting so overdone. I loved the other books but this one for the final book has been disappointing so far. I really hope the second half is better.

450 pages in and there has been so much information and barely anything going on. I really hope it starts picking up soon.

A story that begins as a whisper and ends as a storm. The first half unfolds slowly, all tension and shadow, before unraveling into something far more intriguing.
Once the secrets surface, the book finds its pulse. The twist took me completely by surprise, weaving betrayal, power, and magic in ways I didnāt see coming. I loved watching her grow into her strength, mastering what once frightened her. And though the final battle went quickly, the presence of the gods gave it a weight that lingered long after.
Darkly magical and full of quiet revelations, this is a story that rewards patience.

Morally grey or straight up baddies? A collection of books written from a villainous/morally grey POV. Only the first book from a series is included.

Fable for the End of the World is a haunting, beautiful descent into survival and connection at the edge of humanityās collapse. Itās dark, chaotic, and achingly human. The kind of story that leaves your heart raw and your mind spinning long after the final page.
I was swept into its grim world where kindness carries a price and hope flickers like a dying ember. The characters are unforgettable, bound by circumstance yet connected by something deeper. An understanding that even in ruin, compassion still matters.
Itās the rare kind of dystopian story that doesnāt just show you the end of the world. It makes you feel it!
