after finishing this book and going back to the beginning pages, the emotion and humanity is even more poignant: “I was forced to acknowledge too late, much too late, that I too had loved, that I was capable of suffering and that I was human after all.”
this was a beautifully and thoughtfully crafted book with reflections on so many profound topics, it’s tragic but also human.

This was beautiful. The writing was so beautifully done and the audiobook production added to the experience. I adore sister stories and the love shared between sisters. I just want more of this.
