The story starts with Wang Xiaomie, a recluse virgin getting transmigrated into a thousand year old body kept in a casket by Wen Feng Jin his lover?? The two spend their time chit-chatting, sleeping and love-making (they live in a masoleum built under a mountain btw). This blissful time comes to an end when a group of grave robbers try to harm them. Long buried secrets and feelings erupt threatening their new found peace.

I was intrigued by the title and hence decided to pick this up. The story about the main characters being zombies and fighting grave robbers to protect their love piqued my interest. The main character Wang Xiaomie makes a joke whenever he is nervous but I find that it isn't translating well or is it just me? I did not find it funny in some parts and it was kinda annoying too. The author tries too hard to be funny and it ends up being annoying.

The main lead Wen Feng Jin is an obsessive maniac who is in love with Wang Xiaomie and will do everything in his power to have him. It seems he had no other goals in life other than being with Xiaomie. I am hoping we get to know more about him since this is only the first volume.

The premise was good but the execution is dull. I feel that characters and the world itself needs to be more fleshed out.

This book had so much potential but it failed to deliver. The characters weren't compelling enough for me and I struggled to finish it. The writer kind of lost the plot in the latter part of the book which was such a disappointment.
