    🥺

When you go through the quotes available for this book they are all about them, their romance, their relationship or their official role in the war.

What I took from this book the most, was not the romance, but how spineless the international community was by not acting and letting the genocide be almost complete. How the resistance could not even let go of prejudice to save themselves.

I hope you understand that what happened in this book is happening today, before your eyes, and you are not acting. And if you are. Even with little action. Thank you.

    Thank you SenLinYu

Beautifully written, intricate and painfully real. No dull moment.

Note: Not a HP fan. I cannot backup this type of romance, since I cannot romanticize an icon of the fascist/genocidal regime independently of his stand and reasons. This because the similarities with actual real world events happening today is too much. I never understood her fixation on Luc (told but not shown?). They also had a sort of childish relationship, very strange for hardened resistance fighters.

vackert på ett grymt och obekvämt sätt. har läst boken flera gånger och tycker den är så himla välskriven.
