  • Bookish pet peeves?

What are some of your biggest pet peeves about books themselves?

I, for one, am constantly upset that tables of contents aren't as regular as they used to be, specifically the kind that show pages number, not just chapter titles. I like to see ahead of time if the chapters are longer or shorter so I can better pace my reading. Why are publishers hiding this information from us?? 🤣

I also need the praise on the back of the book to be switched with the summary inside the cover. The praise is always secondary to me, give me the deets! 😂

So curious to see what else annoys you guys lol

I enjoyed this book. Even though very bad things continued to happen throughout the story, it still had cozy fantasy vibes. I was surprised that the romance seems secondary to the main fantasy story. I did really enjoy the found family plot and the magic system.
