How has so much happened and also, like, nothing happened? is this the price of too many POVs? it's been 24hrs of audiobook and I still feel like we're barely out of the setup phase. đ I guess that's what happens when you split the plot across books. This definitely feels like an older method of pacing, I don't think modern books could get away with this stretching out lol. To be clear it's not bad per se, it's just a lot... and also not a lot. somehow. As a reader accustomed to modern books this feels like a totally different tempo. Maybe that's just Robin Hobb for ya, though.

Hello Everyone, I just arrived on Pagebound and the community seems really nice so I'd like to ask you for some recommendations. âš
I'm looking to read different genres this year and I really want to try one of Agatha Christie's books, but I don't know where to start. I already seen Crime on the Orient Express, And then there were none and Death on the Nil.
If you have some recommendations other than those 3 I would deeply appreciate it! I love a good plot twist and mysteries behind closed doorsđ«Ł. And if maybe some of you want to read it together to share thoughts I'm down!
Have a nice day ! đ

Hi! So, as the the title says, Iâve started to get back into reading this past year and really want to share this with other people! đ©”
Despite my best efforts, I cannot get my irl friends to join in with me and whilst I enjoy reading for readings sake Iâd love to be able to share my thoughts and feelings with others!
So if your tastes align with mine please give me a follow and Iâll follow back. Iâd love to do like a little unofficial book club or something! âšđ

Beautiful illustrations but I did not understand the ending đ¶. I felt like I juste witnessed the lives of people and that we didnât get a lot of progress in the plot. I finished this story with more questions đ«

My best friend is not a reader, but is interested in starting to read some via audiobooks. She loves podcasts, so anyone books with great narrators would be perfect!! She loves a murder mystery, but also loves a rom com. So if you have any audiobook recs that would hook someone getting into reading pls share (I donât listen to enough audiobooks to be much help to her).
