And Then There Were None
Agatha Christie

I found this book very easy to read and thoroughly enjoyed it! This book read like a YA Novel whilst not being appropriate for YA. I feel like this is a book for a generation, that grew up with phones and has a very short attention span.
I was missing a deeper story, deeper characters, more world building. I think this book would have been great if it had 600 pages but with the approx. 400 there is just not enough time for everything. The focus was heavily on the brother's relationship, which sometimes made the FMC a side-kick. I would have liked some more insight about her but also about all the other great characters that got introduced but didn't end up contributing much to the story. I would also have appreciated a lot more world building and learning about the magic system, the dragons, the poems!
But I think it is a great debut novel! Which is worth the hype and a read! I loved the setting and the whole idea of the magic system.

I have seen videos describing this as a Love story. Who in their right mind read this and was like: yes this must be love.

I read "The love hypothesis" and " Love theoretically" back to back. I really enjoyed it! This book was funny and relaxing and exactly what I expected it to be.
