This book has so much potential ands then it started dragging and dragging. Nothing was happening and the characters all started sucking. From 50%-95% I was mostly bored. I got tired for the 80s references and lore but pushed through. Overall not a terrible book but could have been so much better. The OASIS sounds so cool and the way the world was explained had me so interested.

This was very good and had me a little on edge. I breezed through this book because it was short and I was hooked.

I’m very invested in the message of this book. Every chapter is well thought out and said. I’m loving it a lot

This book made me so angry and uncomfortable but I'm sure that's the point. Sidney freaking sucks so bad and no that's not a spoiler, you'll find out in the first few chapters. The first half was weird but good. The ending was not thought out and felt theoretical. Everyone in my book club was left wondering what happened because nothing was clear at the end. Not a fan of this book. Interesting idea but bad execution.

This book brought me to so many emotions. I read it over a year ago so it might be time for a reread. I’m excited to hear people’s thoughts about this one

This book is pretty intense with the language. It makes me want to read classics and improve my vocabulary so it’s not a bad thing. It drags a little in the beginning but there’s hints and pieces of drama that I’m excited about.

I'm really loving this book so far! This is my 2nd book by Amanda Montell book and I'm a big fan of the way she writes. The book is broken into parts to make it easier to digest. I'm learnign so much about cults and cultish things. It's really opening my eyes and has been sitting on my mind since I started.

I enjoyed reading this book so much! The characters were all so real and amazing. I’m in awe. I’m glad this was my first Brandon Sanderson book. I feel in love with Arelon and the characters. I want to read more but I’ll cherish this read.

It’s crazy how quickly I got sucked back into this world. I’m so excited where the book opened up. Up to chapter 8 so far
