Happy NAHM/IAHM Everyone! To all my Indigenous friends and family, much much love!
I am doing a NA/Indigenous read-along for this month with my library's book clubs, and we are looking for more recommendations. The clubs are Kids, Youth (middle grade), YA/Teen, Adult, Non-fiction, and general (everyone). So far we are reading and discussing:
"Looking for Smoke" by K.A. Cobell (YA) "Ancestor Approved" by Cynthia Leitch Smith (ALL Clubs) "Elatsoe" by Darcie Little Badger (Youth/YA) "Medicine River" by Mary Annette Pember (Nonfiction/Adult) "If the Dead Belong Here" by Carson Faust (Adult) "This Land" by Ashley Fairbanks (Youth/Kids) "Never Whistle at Night" (Adult/YA club) "To Shape a Dragon's Breath" by Moniquill Blackgoose (YA) "Finding My Dance" by Rja Thundercloud (Youth/Kids) "Find Her" by Ginger Reno (ALL clubs) "Imaginary Borders" by Xiuhtezcatl Martinez (Nonfiction/YA/Adult) & "The Buffalo Hunter Hunter" by Stephen Graham Jones (Adult)
If there are any other books that you all would like to recommend, feel free to leave them down below! I'll try making a list on here of the books for everyone on PB and for my librarian/book club friends!

I feel like I already have a pretty good idea of where this story is heading. Iâm hoping for a really good plot twist at this point but either way enjoying the story so far. I really enjoy Stacy Willingham books that Iâve read in the past so hoping for alittle more mystery for the rest of this book đ€đŒ

Honestly so underwhelmed with this book. What a snooze fest itâs starting to come together but wow this book is long and full of nothing but random fluff. Why is there so much of this back and forth with Lyra and time happening over and over. We get it. đŽ đ€

Is there any kind of standard people follow for when they know they've read a book, can talk about the plot and characters, &etc, but have absolutely no idea when they might have read it? (this might be more of an Older People/very heavy reader sort of thing) I've been guessing as best I can so far, but there's still an enormous amount of books that I know I've read but that I could maybe guess at decade at best xD

Hey! While I am fairly new to PageBound, I've been here for a decent chunk of time. I know they updated the points system, but it kind of sucks that it only goes from now on rather than updating all the older stuff to match the new points system. I totally get why it was done like this, but do any older members feel the same way?
edit: I'm not so sure abt all this hate đ I'm obvi not on pagebound for points only (I have never used a tracker except pagebound bc I wanted to support) but idk. I never intentionally do any of the stuff to get points (only when I want), but it feels strange knowing the points for it all changed only for now. I COMPLETELY understand why it wasn't done for all the older points! It's just too much!

If you had to recommend an order to read the author's books in, what would you recommend and why?
So far, I've only read one EmHen book (Book Lovers), and I'm not sure which to try next. Like, obviously I can read whichever one I want, but I was just curious if anyone had any thoughts on a potential reading order. Like, maybe certain ones have certain vibes? Most serious to least serious? Least well-written to most well written? Best MMC to worst?
With Ali Hazelwood, I've read Deep End and PSR, but I'm curious about her other works too!
Feel free to share any thoughts! (This is my first post on here teehee)
