This I think is my favourite so far, titans curse has some great individual scenes but overall this book I enjoyed reading much better, so excited to see what happens in the next book!

Dramatic battles, tense political intrigue, unique world building...and is that maybe some romance I'm sensing? These books are not Romantasy but focus primarily on the SFF elements. Romance is a subplot and may not appear until later in the series, but when it does, you won't be disappointed.

I’m SOOOO glad I gave this book a second chance! I’d read the lighting thief a few years ago and then stated this one but I stop for reasons I can’t remember. For context I’ve seen the films (don’t come at me I know they’d a horrendous adaptation) so the major plot point didn’t hit that hard as they should, but that didn’t stop it being an highly enjoyable read!
