hi friends!! my question for today is all about how you go book shopping.
when you go to the store to buy books, do you plan which titles you plan on picking up? do you check inventory to make sure they’re available? or do you truly just vibe with the shelves?
i ask this as someone who went to barnes and noble today with one book in mind, and forgot to check beforehand if it was in stock. when i got there and couldn’t find it on shelves, i asked an associate and they confirmed they don’t carry any copies of that book in my location. i still managed to pick up some interesting titles that i can’t wait to read, but have to admit i was a bit bummed.
can’t wait to hear your responses!! 😌🫶

Question, at what point would you say screw it in a book and just read the entire thing? Sometimes i spend a week or two on a book then if i have 100 or 200 pages left im like hell ya and just read the rest of the thing and stay up till 3 in the morning.

Bit of a interior design question here, for people with many physical books: I just moved into a new flat, and need to find some creative storage ideas for my books. As I assume some of you may have encountered the problem of too many book in too small a space, but absolute unwillingness to get rid of any of them, I ask for ideas for storage with the following parameters:
Any ideas are welcome!!

What is, according to you, the appropriate amount of pages/percentage read for you to log your reading progress?
I get temped even if I just read 2 pages lol
