When I started reading this book, the synopsis already gave me an idea on what was about to happen. But DAMN, I made a mistake of underestimating the progress of the story and its conflict. The writing is superb, to say the least. I'm so excited on what's about to happen! <33

What books do you hate but other people love? I really hated the Kingdom of the Wicked, Shatter Me, and Red Queen series, they were all DNFs for me 😩

Are there any books you love but that you haven't seen anyone else here or on other platforms recommend? Which books do you think are generally underhyped? I can start: How to be both by Ali Smith is one of my favorite books ever, but I haven't yet come across anyone recommending it! Maybe because it's been out for a while already?

This was so good. I was struggling in the beginning of the first book and pushed through and enjoyed it. This book was even better than the first, It had me hooked from beginning to end

i might get my feelings hurt with this one because there are a lot of well known/popular writers that i really love and enjoy. i read a freida mcfadden book recently and was genuinely disappointed. i grew up on agatha christie and i generally really enjoy mysteries/thrillers, and its been so long since i've enjoyed a good mystery. unfortunately for me, the writing felt very simplistic(? idk if that's the best word for it) and did not impress me at all. yes, this is a risk we all run when taking opinions/thoughts from strangers online, but i'm wondering if there are any super hyped up authors that you didn't/couldn't like at all. (this is exlcuding any authors you don't like because they are problematic in some way or the other)

I keep books that I enjoy, and the ones I don't, I give them away to a tiny free library for others to enjoy. If I start a series and I like book one, but not books 2, but book 3 is good as well, do I keep the series or do I give it up? Some have said to just give up the book, I didn't enjoy but I don't know, what are your thoughts on this aspect?
