I tried to add a couple of books earlier and it came back with an error saying Goodreads doesn’t allow this anymore! Is this an issue anyone else ran into today or is it just me? xD

I've been wanting to try doing a reading challenge while I'm at home, but I can only think of the 24 hour challenge and having a spinner wheel choose how many hours I read per day. So, can anyone think of any others? Also, while we're on the topic, if you've tried a reading challenge before, what was your experience?

EDIT: Just clearing up the confusion. I already do a bunch of year-long reading challenges, I moreso meant 24 hour or week-long reading challenges that you would usually see on booktube channels. Such as a 24 reading challenge or a spinner wheel chooses how many hours I read in a day, kind of thing.

I took a break from reading for a few days to work on a side project - a TBR jar! Well… bowl in my case. I had a whole system about which books went into the jar (physically owned TBR, friend recommendations, and free ebooks). Currently, there are 200+ books in the jar. The hope is I’ll commit a bit more to my loose book buying ban and the spontaneity of which book will be picked is fun! Rules are:

1. 10 books must be picked before 2 can be added (with the exception of series, next book is allowed to be added in ASAP).
2. Only 2 skips per month.
3. If cats steal a slip and I find it, I can read that book next or whenever I choose.
4. Library books beat TBR Jar (due to timeline of return).
5. There are four blank slips within the bowl. If picked, I’m allowed to buy 1 book.

That’s my TBR Adventure! Does anyone else have a TBR jar? A specific system? Do you find it easy to stay committed to the jar?

does anyone else like exploring libraries around them? my local county library system has 15 locations and so far I've been to 4 of them. I also recently got a library card online at the county next to mine and plan on visiting one of the locations this week.

I just find it exciting to go to new libraries and look around and wanted to see how many other people do too :)

I’m not sure if anyone else has had this issue and knows how to fix it.

I’ve been trying to comment using reaction memes and gifts but it just shows up as a blank block. I’m using the correct format and even the link to create a link address that everyone provides but it’s still not showing the image/gif.

So when I type in the link, it shows up in the comment section as just a blank space where the image should be.
