A pretty nice book, but I hate hate HATE Laryk with a passion. So that ruined the moment for me.

okay so I hated this. The more I read, the more I hated it. I read this series a couple of years ago and I remember being OBSESSED with it. Now tho? everything sucked. I hate every character now except for maybe Azriel. Feyre and Rhysand? trash. Nesta en Cassian? trash. Elain? pls kill her in the next book. And dont get me started on Mor and Amren. The only good characters are Gwyn and Emerie tbh.
Another thing I hate: when people tell me, no you just dont get Nesta. Do you never struggle with mental health uwuu. Idk but people protecting themselves with anger just makes my skin crawl.
all the character development from the other books was just flushed down the toilet and dont get me STARTED on the Feyre is pregnant but we cant get the big ass baby out storyline...pls fuck off with that. in this essay i will

Okay so this was horrible. DNF at like 500 pages in. I could, for the life of me, not continue with this book. I was really intrigued by this book in the beginning (or at least by the idea of this book and all I saw about it online). But holy frick the more this dragged on, the worse it got. To me, this story is just straight up abusing and traumatizing a character for 1000 pages with no plot at all and calling it 'deep'. Also the main dude is horrible? Not intersting? And not redeemable at all? Why people call this a masterpiece is beyond me.
Maybe I am indeed to o stupid to understand the deepnes of this story, but omg get outta here i really dont care lol
