I was poking around the app and I seen a thing that said Book Plan. (Cant remember the exact wording now). The thing with the calendar icon. How are we supposed to use it? Is it for adding books we want to read later? If so, can we add just one or several? (Sorry, im still learning lol)

My husband wants me to finish this book by Halloween because he wants to watch the movies. I haven't seen either of the movies but I don't think I'm going to make it, this book is thick😂

Tbh… I’m not a fan of the percentage update while reading. I don’t get the hype 🤷🏼♀️ I think it’s more work than necessary. I totally get the reading list updates, or reading goal updates. What does everyone else think?? What am I missing??
I’m curious why it was important enough to be added

Ive found like two silly typos 😭. Im not sure if its amazons fault or the editor, but it yanks me right out of the story. (Still madly in love with the story though, make no mistake).

Another quality of life update! You can now select which edition of a book you are reading, which will update the book info in your library. This is most relevant for changing which book cover shows up in your library, or changing the language edition. We get asked all the time about changing book covers, so I'm happy to report this is finally an option! The edition page will also show you additional data like publisher and page count.
This does require an app update if you are on the iOS/Android app.
We've been working with a few volunteer librarians to combine language editions on Pagebound and are making steady progress "deduping" popular authors. This is a necessary process to make sure we have one forum per book, and also ensures if you read a book in say Spanish, the English version is also marked "finished" and you get credit towards any Quests, Readalongs etc. Deduping will also make Search and navigating the author pages easier.
To change the language/edition of a book, click "View All Languages & Editions" on the book page (next to publish year above the book description). You'll see a list of all available editions, and can swap from that page. Your chosen edition will reflect in your Library.
Combining language editions is a monumental task, so we appreciate your patience as me, Lucy, and our volunteers work through it all!
Another fun update: we brought the "Featured Emoji" to the Discover Lists page!
We're still working on home feed updates and will be back soon with more updates :)
Happy Reading, Jennifer & Lucy
PS: if you're curious how deduping works: When language editions are combined, it just means that there is one Book/forum per listing, but the "deduped" editions are still available on the editions page. All reviews and forum posts that were on the deduped book will now show up on the main Book page.

What the title says. I've always seen people online refer to themselves as "mood readers" but for some reason never looked it up until now. The definitions I'm seeing online seem to describe it as pretty much "reading whatever you feel like," but how is that different than regular reading? Does everyone not do that? What is the alternative? If you call yourself a mood readers (or if you purposefully don't), how do you define what that is? Does it have to do with caring more about vibes and atmosphere than tropes and plot? Thought I'd ask since I've seen some people put it in their bios here!
Edit to add: Okay, you've all convinced me I'm a mood reader! The general consensus I'm seeing in the comments is that a mood reader is someone who doesn't follow a strict TBR list and just reads whatever sounds good at the time rather than making a plan and sticking to it. I always have at least 10-15 books going at once MINIMUM because my TBR is literally where books go to die—if a book sounds good, I start it immediately no matter what I'm already reading. I don't know the last time outside of a series I planned out what books I was going to read next and stuck to it in any meaningful way 🫣

Hi all! I am back again with another TikTok trend I’ve seen and it’s where they list 10 books they’d love to get to before the end of the year!
I don’t think I have 10 books that I absolutely need to read before the year is over but here are a few:
- The Familiar by Leigh Bardugo - Six of Crows/Crooked Kingdom by Leigh Bardugo (re-reads!) - Ninth House/Hell Bent by Leigh Bardugo (re-reads even though I already did a re-read of Ninth House earlier this year 😂) - East of Eden by John Steinbeck - Frankenstein by Mary Shelley
So that’s 7 books for me! What about you guys? 🥰
