All right you are stuck on a Desert Island and you can only have 5 books (donât ask me to explain the logic that you got those 5 books there). Which books do you have with you. Also, I know some of you are very creative and will figure out a way to bring extras but no extras. Give me your 5 books.
Here are mine:
Dune by Frank Herbert Startide Rising by David Brin The Stand by Stephen King The Fifth Elephant by Terry Pratchett A Tale of Two Cities by Charles Dickens

If you could live in ONE book's world, what book would that be? Who would you be in that world? I'd probably want to live in Howl's Moving Castle's world personally. đ° Being a witch sounds like something I'd love to do. I was also thinking about The Master and Margarita, but it's a bit more of an upsetting world haha. Not gonna lie, riding a broom naked in the night, running away from everything sounds tempting. đ§č âš

So⊠since weâve opened that can of worms about age on the forum recently đ
Hi, Iâm 40 and still love fantasy! Even though I loved ACOTAR, One Dark Window, Phantasma etc., it seems like the FMC is always (very) young.
Iâm craving a little age-appropriate variety: give me a protagonist whoâs a bit older, wiser, maybe even in their thirties. You know, someone whoâs been around the block a few times but still kicks ass (or breaks hearts). đ
What gems do you recommend?âŹïžâŹïž
đšđŁđđđ§đ: a collective thanks for all your recommendations. 𫶠Apparently I was living under a stone, because there is so much to choose from. đ I will check them all and make my own personal list. Feel free to add titles that your missing.
Again: thanks to all! đđ

I think it's quite obvious on my finished list that it's Torrent Witches Series by Tess Lake. I'm having penchant for Cozy Mysteries that I can't seem to put down these books. To think that there are ten books in the series. đ”

I was just curious about the other people of the community!
My main hobby is writing and drawing, I think. The Hobby i have done the longest and the most seriously (but now, I am on a break) is Cosplay/costume making. I have been singing since I was a kid, and absolutely love standing on stage.
My favourite genre is horror (any sort), and it crosses over into my other hobbies A LOT.
