I've started reading in the language I'm learning and I understand it pretty well, but would like to be able to read a little faster by not needing to think about what every word is in English. đ
When do you go from reading and mentally translating into your native language to reading and understanding IN the language?
Do you have any tips for intermediate learners starting to read novels in the language they're studying?
I've started to take the approach of a sci-fi novel that starts out with a bunch of conlang and you figure out the words you don't know as you go, but I'd be curious to hear how others go about it!!

Very excited to announce that you can now download the app on Android!! Google Play approved us this afternoon :) we're still waiting on Apple and will make a big release announcement once both platforms are available.
If you're on Android, we'd love if you give us a download and leave a review. In typical non conformist PB fashion I do find it hilarious that we are available on Android before Apple; a karmic win for all our Android baddies.
Can't wait to see what everyone thinks of the app!!

Can confirm this book lives up to the hype. I'm not a huge fantasy reader but the characters and relationships were so moving and complex that it had me engaged the entire time. I only wish I didn't have to return it to the library so I had longer to savor it. đ„Č

Not at all what I expected (I really need to start reading descriptions before I read a book) but I really enjoyed it. I love a retelling and this book did a great job with it and doesn't beat you over the head with the analogy.

The books when you feel like crying, want a sprinkle of existentialism or just staring at a wall while you go into a spiral.

Honestly, after finishing Part 1, I was debating with myself if I liked this book or if I didn't. Jury's still out but have decided to push through for now.

ÂĄA mĂ me encanta! I'm reading this book in both Spanish and English side by side and I'm loving it so much more than I thought I would. It's so much easier to read and more digestable than English literature I've read from the same time period.

curious if anyone has recommendations because I donât usually see my home state featured in books much
I think the only books Iâve read that were set in Florida were Carl Hiassenâs middle grade novels
