Context: As Pagebound grows, we have been brainstorming sustainable ways to create more Quests that the community is eager to see. We're trialing a new idea for a community-voted Quest, inspired by a List. More info in the last post I made in Founder's Announcements.
For the past week, Pagebound Royalty members have submitted nominations for Lists to inspire Quests. Jennifer and I have gone through and ensured all the Lists you'll be voting on meet our Quest guidelines. There are 86 Lists eligible for you to vote on, and you can find them in this spreadsheet.
There will be 3 winning Lists selected from different genre categories. You can vote for up to 3 lists from different genres. Submit your votes via this form through end of day April 8th. Take note of the Quest type when voting (Column C in the spreadsheet)! Many nominated Lists share a theme but vary in length. Preference for a Side vs Main Quest could help you decide which to vote for. Most Lists will be Side Quests, but Lists with many books (~60+) will be Main Quests.
The creators of the winning Lists will be able to accept/reject. If they accept, we will create a Quest inspired by their List, adapting the title & book list as necessary to fit Quest constraints. If they decline, we'll ask the runner-up! The resulting Quest will not be open to book additions since there will not be anyone actively maintaining the book list (similar to when a Main Quest hits its 100 book cap and is closed to further additions).
If this is a good experience for the community, we plan to run this List nomination + voting process quarterly. Our goals here are to encourage quality List-making, give the entire community a voice in Quest creation in a sustainable way, acknowledge our Royalty supporters, and create some exciting, diverse Quests!
Thanks for voting! Jennifer & Lucy

Sentient Architecture
"Place as character" is usually reserved for lush descriptions that bring environments to life, and less often used for environments that have a life of their own. This list includes houses, homes, castles, spaceships, anywhere people will spend time and call home. Not meant to include haunted houses, but a case could be argued for specific ones. c:
Only including the first in a series unless books feature different sentient places.

(Call me crazy, but I preferred Old THOT Next Door over this story. Miss Vernita burrowed her way into my heart.)
This book follows Nunu through an unfortunate chain of events. While some things she did and said were ..uncomfortable and disagreeable, I was able to understand where she was coming from. The events behind her actions were laid out well. Nunu starts the story off as a stripper, and throughout the course of the book, more and more of the avenues (the ones she knows how to utilize) are blocked from her. She feels trapped, but she’s trying to find a way out. She doesn’t give up- not once.
But that’s the crux of it all: she only sees the world through the lens of what she knows. But the stakes are higher than she’s used to. I might go so far as to say that Quan Millz has demonstrated systemic racism and sexism in an easily accessible way. But you have to read it for the deeper context, and I’m not sure that’s why readers are picking up Pastors Eat Pwussy Too.
Some readers say that Quan Millz is misogynistic, but I believe he hates on men just as much with his writing. Repeated throughout the story is the theme of how men are ruled by their lustful desires, regardless of age, sex, or creed. And yes, Nunu sees evidence of this repeatedly, from the men who pay her at the stripclub, to her parole officer, to the pastor. It’s heartbreaking because she expects that men will treat her like a piece of meat to be consumed. When they dont, she suffers greatly over her misunderstanding.

💦 HE'S the horse 💦 suckers in fun places 💦 She rides him 💦 She also rides him 💦 Oh yeah and Fated Mates
Such a fun debut! I was literally dying at the concept of her dating her mount 😂
Her mount backs out....hot demon boy (joyfully) becomes her new mount. Literally. As a horse. in the Monster Olympics.
LOVED the father figures for both FMC and MMC....and these guys got their own.....situations you could say.
There is plot! There is an antagonist but.... sexy demon horse MMC is committed to doing right by his woman and will take care of it all 😎
This was a fun and quick read, but all the characters were still well developed with their own backstories (antagonist included) Also lots of intriguing world building for the demons! It all nicely opens the stage for future books if the author so chooses 👀
(also I liked that MMC's human glamour was a hot asian guy to be so fr)
