I've seen a few posts where the audience is assumed to be American and it made me curious about how many users are actually American? Objectively speaking it makes sense that the majority is but I wish there was a statistic for it (just out of curiosity).

This is so interesting: the author links the increase in self-help books with the increase in superficial politics and the increase of individual thinking. As opposed to our home being the others, the ones that surround us, there is a tendency to this individual thinking that ultimately makes us lonely and disconnected from our own being and our own home. Some sentences of this book remind me of The Serviceberry.

Does anyone have a recommendation for an audiobook that sounds nice? I tried to listen to one before but I didn’t like voice actor and with university starting to become more demanding I feel like it’s easier for me to listen to some audiobooks cuz idw get in a slump. I don’t mind any genres. But for those who read audiobooks, do you have any first recommendations?

I've never read any of William Shakespeare's work and wanna start now, but I'm kinda intimidated by the old English and im wondering whether I'll even understand a word. Also I'm really confused about which edition to pick. Pls help a beginner out 😭😭

I think this could be a very fun game! In the comments, let us know where you are (you can be as general as Country or as specific as which City/Town if you want) and recommend a book set in your location.
I'll go first - I'm in Victoria, the capital city of BC, Canada, and I recommend Smut by Karina Halle. Bonus points if you've ever listened to some of the spicier scenes while on BC Transit, or used to study in the library where a memorable scene takes place.
All genres welcome, as long as the book takes place in the geographical region you've decided to highlight!

I’ve enjoyed this bool very much!
Mona is so cute and strong and determined. It reminded me greatly of Tress of the emerald sea.
I regret to say that I didn’t start it earlier because I judged this book by its cover. But I’m happy I read it and really recommend this adventure!
All this talk about muffins has made me hungry though! 😂
