I really enjoyed it at first. The first couple of chapters had me hooked. But toward the end, there were just too many twists, and it stopped making sense.

June is such a cringeworthy character in the best possible way. What stood out to me is how often she centers herself, even when sheās clearly hurting other people. Sheās deeply jealous of Athena, obsessed with recognition, very defensive, and constantly rewrites events in her head so she can still see herself as the victim or the deserving one. That self-justification is a huge part of what makes her so cringey to read.
It was an easy, fast read and definitely kept me entertained, but I think I expected it to hit me a little harder. I enjoyed it, I just didn āt love it. š

Victorian Psycho was such a fun, dark read. I loved how slowly it builds the atmosphere, creating this eerie sense that something is very wrong before everything completely unravels. Itās disturbing, gory, darkly funny, and beautifully deranged. The tension keeps building until the story finally lets loose, and when it does, it really goes for it. Definitely not for the squeamish, but I loved every twisted minute of it. š©øš¤š
