DNFing it at 102 pages because the writing is awfully dull, empty and repetitive.

I really wanted to give it a chance because the story is interesting but I can't stand 99% of the characters. (The only one I like in Noon who was introduced 10 pages back and have one page of dialogue total).

I'm assuming that there was supposed to be a enemies to lovers sub plot but it’s hard to read the MC talk how his cheekbones and pretty, he's a model and "why would be help me" and "i want to trust him but i can't because we are from 2 different worlds" from the moment they met.

The repetition about the "monster inside me" thing , and how she is different than anyone, and how she spent years in the woods and how she doesnt like her nickname is infuriating. MC is also super inconsistent with writing, being shy one moment, and confident another. She also seem very oblivious (because I dont want to stupid) and naive. ((Why wouldn't she check what the girl who said she will kill her the first chance she gets found that suprised her as they ate activelyrunning for thier life?)).

There is very little of show and a lot of tell.

I might give it another chance later on, but I dont have high hopes. It's a shame.

I had SO much fun reading this book.

All characters are well written from the 1st page and super likable. They are introduced with flaws hidden in their actions, sucking us into the story.

I have to say I was a bit upset that Sebastian and Orok wont be the end couple because I really liked thier dynamic at the beginning of the book, but now I'm glad they stayed best friends. Their friendship is very dear to my heart.

I liked Sebastian's and Elethior's relationship and how it had layers and proper progression instead of going from enemies to lovers in 2 pages.

I don’t read romance books so idk how usual it is, but I really liked the overall plot of the book, and characters backgrounds. It was well developed within the story progression and with character development.

I was really worried we will end up in the "miscommunication" trope when I had over 100 pages left after they went on a date and im SO SO glad it didnt happen.

It was super fun read, and I made me want to buy the rest of the books from this author (I will be buying part 2 in this series as soon as see a bookstore). Absolute 10/10
