Just a guy trying to get into reading, I hope gamifying it will motivate me to read more. I like board games, TTRPGs, video games and Lego. The outside world is scary, I like to be inside with my cat.

Absolutely loved the call to action at the end. Sure you enjoyed the concepts discussed in the book but what are you willing to do about it? How will you introduce a gift economy into your life?

I’ve chosen Black Cake - litfic exploring familial relationships across generations? Sign me up! Also, I think there’s a tv show I can watch after too, like a reward 🤭

The Book Reminded me of Witchbrook (page 56)

Really like how "mundane" the magics in here. It's leaning more as civil service similar to Kiki Delivery Service and a game still in development I've following: Witchbrook. Long story short, the game is about what in this book is. Magic is like any other collage studies and magician is just any other professions. You guys need to check the game out WHEN IT RELEASE, because it been in development for 10 years. The update is starting to get more frequent, unlike few years ago.
