Did I finish this in literally one sitting? YES. Was it THE thriller ? Absolutely not. An average read for me. I liked the beginning, it started well, keeping me at the edge of my seat waiting for the twists to come, but when the revelations came, I felt so disappointed. The FMC was making stupid moves, it pissed me off😭!
The writing is quite simple and easy to go through. A good book to pick up when you are falling into a slump and just want something fast to save you from that!

self care but make it disturbing thriller way
Here comes my compilation of ACTUALLY GOOD thrillers, and god knows how strict I am when it comes to those, my standards are so high barely any book makes it past the bar. You will find in here thriller books that I believe deserve to be on your completed shelf or at least TBR. My criteria for that is for a book to end as good as it started. Everything has to make sense and the plot twist needs to be actually twisted, guessable but still so twisted that you miss it (NOT far-stretched) enjoy!

It's brilliantly written. You might find it an open and shut case but let me warn you, it's not. The title I felt did not quite connect to the story but again if you see the genre, could be acceptable. But I was blown. With the case and whatever happened, the climax. Amazing

Good lord, everyone was awful (except Cat, love Cat).
Poses the age-old question of nature v nurture.
A fairly typical thriller. Not bad, not groundbreaking. A few gasp out loud moments.

Such a satisfying book omg!! I truly loved it. I couldn’t put the book down. It made me feel truly disturbed at times, sent chills down my spine honestly while keeping me excited, that’s how a thriller is supposed to be and I am here for it. I deducted some points because I was able to guess a big chuck of the plot twist -not that it is the book’s fault- but that didn’t make the end any less satisfying! Hands down the thriller that made me thrilled the most so far.
