So I recently just finished one book, and it has a follow up. But I also have a bunch of books that I've bought that I haven't read yet. So how do you all decide what your going to read next? Is it on feeling? Or do you base it off of how interested you are in a certain author? Genre? Subject? Ect.

Dan Jones' ability to write scenes in historical context makes all of the real-life characters of the book stand out. From the Kings and Queens of Europe, to the knights and historians that Jones pulls from. His work is fantastic.

One of Knaak's flagship series and probably his best in my opinion. These tales set the stage for so much more and each volume is more interesting than the last. I remember reading Fire Drake in high school and realizing how much I wanted to create my own world.

A true work of paleoart. From start to finish, Jurassic Park remains one of the greatest dinosaur fiction stories ever written. Filled with questions on what is ethical and not when corporate greed gets involved. "Life finds a way" is forever burned into my brain.

A really good introduction to the setting of old Chicago, and the old days of Al Capone. But with a paranormal twist.

One of the best early 2000s dinosaur books that I've ever read and still go back to, for references to this day. Though it is a bit outdated in context to what we know of dinosaurs now.

Steve does a great job of weaving these sorts of documentary style scenes with a mix of adventure with his own discoveries and those of his peers. It's a really fun book for dinosaur lovers everywhere.
