Fungus-punk investigations in beef country. A tricky web is weaved for us here.
My goodness this narrator is amazing. A slightly british accent, but leaning into the strangeness of the world with the pronunciation. The timbre of each characters voice does such nice work representing their personality, and even relation to each other. Andrew Fallaize is another on my list of narrators that will get me to read a book just because they narrate it.
What an incredible follow up to the first too books in this series, and I’m excited to learn that this is now a series not limited to three books! There is so much more of Kannum to explore and digest, and I would miss Din and Ana terribly. The mysteries continue to be hard to predict, and take several changes in direction that will leave you leaping in the wrong direction. The resolution is satisfying and makes sense, which is a tricky thing do to one let alone three times. I feel like this must be what it was like to read Sherlock as it was coming out or some other turn installment type series. I’ve never read anything quite so vividly its own thing, and I cannot wait for more.

I’ll keep this short. What do the PageBound users call ourselves?
I kinda like pagers or bounders? But could also see some weird in joke like tomatoes.🍅
apologize if it’s a repost but my searching failed
