1/8/26 My most anticipated read that I have been dying to get to. If this disappoint me I’m canceling this year!!!!

This is one book you have to read the whole thing to get the point which some people have said it doesn't but it actually does. It is a very very uncomfortable read which I was going DNF a couple times how very crass some parts felt with the sex but it clicks into place once you finish it.

I have to be honest and say that no one is really likeable in the book at all.

You do feel for Waldo once you realize the adults in her life failed her. She doesn't have positive adult role models in her life when her dad is nowhere to be found and her mom actively seeking attention and validation herself in failed relationships. Waldo has extreme validation issues and seeks attention which comes from not having a stable home life. So her pursuit of her very older English teacher, which is the majority of the book, makes sense when you realize that Waldo doesn't know what a positive relationship with boundaries looks like when she never saw it in her home life.

While the English teacher using manipulation tactics which he groomed her, blew up his whole life for his 17-18 year old student. Which got upset when he realized that he blew up his whole marriage/life for an 18 year old. Also realizing that a 17-18 year old was the pursuer but who had mom and dad issues along with validation issues. He did absolutely nothing to set up boundaries and stop it but went along with it as a grown ass man… Then want to pin all the blame on her which was his fault in the first place since he was an adult..

It really does go back to Jennette and her relationship with her mom because the whole book circles back to Waldo and her relationship with her mom.

I just wish Jennette would have slowed down a little when she was narrating it but did start to make sense why she narrated like that towards half way through.

I'm still going to leave this unrated because I really don't know what to give it.

This was the second half of the Infinity Arc plus two side stories.

The Lover of Princess Kaguya is still ridiculous but in a cute and fun way.

Its a cute Christmas Story.

For some reason the manga have this" Did this actually happen? Of course it did. It wouldn't happen any other way." feel to it.

It goes so over the top and dramatic it just feels normal to the universe.

Did a cat stay on an airplane wing for almost 20 hours on flight from Tokyo, Japan to Florida, United States? Yep! She wasn't scared either.

Was NASA about to send a crew to space to blow up an asteroid with a nuclear weapon? Yep! They didn't want to close their eyes or fall asleep cause they didn't want to miss a thing. I'm surprised they didn't have a drill.

Did Usagi and the senshi went to space and killed a villain? Yep! Caused a cool flare too!

Did we just give a cat a wish to be human? Yep! What about it?

Did a character just announce they are pregnant while on a mission space? Yep! Girls in STEAM can do anything.
