Reading this book for the first time as an adult really made me realize how well they did making the movie. I really enjoyed this book and if you haven't read it yet (and grew up with the story) give it a read! At about 230 pages it's a quick read!

I had a bit of a slow start with this book, as there is a lot of recounting stories, but I'm so glad I stuck with it. The plot became much more interesting than I originally thought and I found the world really intriguing. It just got better as I read along!

I won this book in a contest not realizing that it is the fourth in the series. Has anyone read it and tell me if it's necessary to read the first three books or can it be read as a one-off?

I was lucky enough to win an advanced readers addition of the this book and I'm so glad I did. I was definitely worried that with the reveal of the time loop very early in the book that things we get monotonous very quickly but I was pleasantly surprised. Although, in my head, I think I would live a bit more of an extreme version of life in a time loop of my own I still found myself interested in Noelle's thoughts and feelings. I felt comfortable while reading the book and warmed to it pretty quickly. My only complaints are that the solution/answers to the time loop wrapped up a bit too simply for me and as a reader I wanted more conflict and discovery. Moreover, although I did like some of the additions of chapters from Cam's perspective, sometimes it felt really unnecessary and didn't help push the story along. With that being said it was a quick read for me and I enjoyed reading it.

A nostalgic read for me. I first read part of this series in middle school when I would leave the library with 20 books in my hands. It's an interesting read and although it deals with cases of murder and violence it does so in a way that feels digestible (not too gruesome). I recommend giving it a try. See what you think!

Writing is not great but it was an entertaining read.

I got this book mostly as a joke because I read a review that said something along the lines of "I thought this was just going to be a book about eels but it was really a book about life." .....They were right. I cried at the end. It is a bit of a difficult read if you don't read a lot of nonfiction or academic material but it weaves in stories from the authors life. Plus eels are so mysterious and interesting that if you're curious I suggest giving it a try.

I have to give this book and this series a 5 star simply because it is the series that got me into reading growing up. The book definitely read for a young reading level (middle school age) but if you're willing to give them a try they have a special place in my heart (the series gets more involved and interesting as it goes along).
