I was gonna say that the kids aren't completely realistic to their ages, but then I realized I also am a queer who does not actually know how kids really are at certain ages, so who am I to say anything 🤷🏼♀️ also cancer sucks! 😡

If it looks like a sparrow, flies like a sparrow, and cheeps like a sparrow, then it probably is a sparrow... The book was very poetically written, but it left me disappointed. I was hoping for a bit more, but I guess sometimes things are just what they are even if they are nicely wrapped in pretty prose.

It was a cute little story, sadly didn't quench my need for more Camilla and Palamedes, it was fun nonetheless.

I really enjoyed the book, the last 400 pages just flew by! Jokes aside (it is kinda true though) it is a crazy vast universe and I couldn't get enough. The characters are built for purpose and a good couple of them truly stole my heart (not you Niclays). I liked the pasing (i know it is a touchy subject) i liked that the beginning was cosy giving us time to settle as the events started to unfold and it got very pacy at the end signalling the climax of the story. You go into the book suspecting the end but the short 800 pages teaches you that it's the journey the twists along the way that matter.
